Mural Dedication - Children’s Courtyard! In-Person
Join us for a special ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil the beautiful new mural at the Children’s Courtyard! The mural, designed by local artist Joshua Farrell and created in collaboration with the San Marcos Art League, transforms the space with a whimsical, koi pond-inspired floor design. Thanks to the generous funding from the Friends of the Library, children will now have the opportunity to enjoy this vibrant, interactive artwork in a magical setting.
The ribbon cutting will take place on Friday, March 7th at 10:30 a.m., and the community is invited to come celebrate the creativity and collaboration that brought this stunning piece of art to life.

On April 1st, we will be moving the events calendar meeting room reservations to our new website, and we will not be able to place meeting room or playroom requests.
Meeting room reservations and events calendar will be unavailable on this site after March 31st. On April 2nd, our events calendar and new reservation system for the meeting rooms and playroom will be located at mysmpl.org.
