Over these six weeks, we will look at "tools" artists employ that enable us to see. We will look closely at color, line and shape and realize how we are affected emotionally and intellectually by the compositional choices made by artists. We will come to understand better how the message of the artist is made manifest in the work of art. DVD-series: the Great Courses: How to Look at and Understand Great Art. Facilitator: Becky Reese.
