Bodily Autonomy Storytime and Parent Chat In-Person

Consent Conscious Story Time and Parent ChatAsian Family Support Services of Austin, in conjunction with the San Marcos Public Library, presents an all-ages consent focused story time for families, followed by a children’s crafting activity and parent chat. This interactive story time will focus on age-appropriate strategies to help children better understand bodily autonomy, how to stand up for themselves if they experience unwanted physical contact and to speak up or seek help when they feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
