Enhanced Library Cards

Enhanced Library Cards In-Person

An Enhanced Library Card has the holder's name, picture, and other personal information printed on it. This may be used as a supplement with other documents to prove your identity. Enhanced Library Cards are only available to residents of San Marcos or Hays County ages 18 years and older. You may also e-mail smpl@sanmarcostx.gov with your name, date of birth, and availability to schedule an appointment if you cannot make the walk-in time. No appointment required on Mondays. Talk to your librarian for more information.
